How We Can Help
Tilt trays shine when conditions aren’t ideal: underground carparks, busy roadsides, sand or mud, seized wheels or steering damage. The bed tilts to create a gentle approach, the winch manages controlled loading and soft straps secure the chassis and wheels without risking panels or underbody components. From classics and daily drivers to light machinery and project cars, the method is precise, repeatable and kinder to everything that matters.

FAQs
What is tilt tray towing and when is it the safer choice?
Tilt tray towing lifts your vehicle completely onto a flatbed. Because all four wheels are off the road, it avoids drivetrain and transmission strain—especially important for AWD/4WD, low-clearance cars and damaged suspensions. It’s typically preferred after accidents, for non-runners, for unregistered vehicles and for longer transports where stability matters. The controlled winch-on process also reduces the chance of further damage during loading.
Can a tilt tray move low-clearance or modified vehicles without scraping?
Yes, if done properly. Operators use low approach angles, ramps or blocks to reduce the break-over point, then guide the car with a slow, straight winch-on. Soft wheel straps avoid pinching bodywork and keep pressure off delicate components like splitters or side skirts. If you can, remove very low lips and let the driver know about air suspension, coilover settings or underbody bracing so they can plan the safest approach.
What should I do before the truck arrives?
If it’s safe, move to a secure spot, switch on hazard lights and set the parking brake. Gather keys, wheel-lock socket and any immobiliser codes, and remove valuables from the cabin and boot. Snap a few photos of the vehicle for your records and share exact pickup details (landmarks, gate codes, tight access) so the truck can position correctly. If the vehicle is stuck in gear or won’t steer, mention that upfront—there are workarounds.
